This Is Me Era

This hands-on workshop uses the art of photography as a mirror for self-discovery and self-love. Participants will explore how images, both the ones we take and the ones we see, shape the way we view ourselves. Through guided photo activities and reflective discussions, girls will learn to see beauty, strength, and individuality in their own stories.

Using cameras or phones, participants will:

• Create self-portraits that celebrate authenticity and confidence

• Explore how lighting, angles, and perspective relate to how we view ourselves and others

• Discuss media, beauty standards, and how to redefine what “beautiful” means personally

• Write affirmations or short captions to pair with their images as a visual love letter to themselves
