About the event

Step into the world of critical thinking, bold conversations, and powerful perspectives at Debate & Decide: Truth, Power & Perspective. This engaging two-part series invites 9th and 10th grade students to explore important themes through film, discussion, and debate.

In Part 1, participants will watch the impactful film “No One Would Tell,” break into teams, and begin crafting thoughtful arguments. You’ll learn how to analyze complex topics, collaborate with peers, and prepare for a structured debate.

In Part 2, the challenge comes to life as teams present and defend their perspectives in front of a panel of judges. This is your opportunity to sharpen your public speaking skills, think on your feet, and confidently express your ideas.

Whether you're new to debating or looking to strengthen your voice, this experience will empower you to speak up, think deeper, and engage with real-world issues.
