The Events Team

The events team for Sistars of View exists to bring the organization’s mission to life through meaningful gatherings that inspire connection, growth, and community building. Their purpose is to design, plan, and execute events that highlight the work of Sistars of View, while also creating safe, engaging spaces for learning, celebration, and sisterhood. From workshops and conferences to fundraisers and social events, the team ensures that every detail reflects the values of empowerment, unity, and impact.

Events Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate venues, catering, supplies, and schedules

  • Maintain event timelines and task lists

  • Support budgeting and expense tracking

  • Act as point of contact for vendors and day-of logistics

Community & Engagement Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Develop outreach strategies to promote events

  • Build relationships with schools, families, and community partners

  • Manage event registration and guest communications

  • Recruit, train, and schedule volunteers and student leaders

  • Ensure inclusivity, representation, and youth voice in events

 Marketing & Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities:

  • Design flyers, social media content, and email blasts

  • Develop event-specific marketing plans

  • Coordinate event photography/videography

  • Manage live event updates and post-event highlights
